Rockwell Achieves Excellent Prices In Its July Diamond Tender:

Receives average value of US$1,676 per carat for 2,196 carats

August 7, 2007, Vancouver, BC -- Rockwell Diamonds Inc ("Rockwell" or the "Company") (TSXV: RDI; OTCBB: RDIAF) reports on its diamond tender sales completed on July 26, 2007.

The average price achieved by the Company for the sale was US$1,676 per carat on total revenue of US$3,682,211. Consistently high prices were received for diamonds from all three of the Company's operations, with strong demand and excellent US Dollar per carat values being achieved for stones larger than 3 carats. The Company again achieved prices higher than the reserve prices set on all its goods.

The largest diamond sold on the tender was a 61-carat G colour stone from Holpan. The parcel also included 22 stones in the 10 to 20 carat size range and 3 stones in the 20 to 30 carat size range, including a 32.84 carat stone from Holpan and a 40.90 carat stone from Klipdam.
