	January 08, 2009 Rockwell Estimates Nine Month Earnings
	January 8, 2009, Vancouver, BC - Rockwell Diamonds Inc. ("Rockwell" or the "Company") (TSX: RDI; JSE: RDI; OTCBB: RDIAF) advises shareholders that earnings and headline per share for the nine month period ending November 30, 2008 are expected to show an estimated earnings of approximately Canadian $0.01 per share. Basic and fully diluted per share figures will be included in the definitive statements. The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by the Company's auditors. The unaudited results for the period ended November 30, 2008 are expected to be published on or about January 14, 2009.
